Are we any good at innovation?

It is easy for me to extoll the virtues of creativity and how it can transform your business. It is easy for me to explain how lateral thinking is a skill that can be taught – you don’t need ‘creative people’ to be a ‘creative organisation’.
But the true test of whether this stuff works is if we, as experts/providers/innovation partners, ‘walk the talk’.
Innovation is at the heart of everything we do. Last year we conducted extensive research and listened to what our clients said. As a result we have completely redesigned our product offerings.
Our clients want a more holistic approach to training and to ensure their return on investment was both guaranteed and increased. So we designed and launched ‘The Innovator’s Toolkit’ and ‘The Communicators Toolkit’.
Our research told us businesses need a process to guarantee new ideas and boil them down to ‘practical innovations’ or as Edward de Bono calls them ‘agile ideas’. The Innovator’s Toolkit was born:
These ‘Toolkit’s’ bring together in a synergistic way the previous single modules we were delivering. They give our clients the whole picture of how to become expert Innovators and Communicators and contain all the tools they need.
We also now work much more closely with our clients post course to make sure the tools and techniques are embedded in the individuals and organisation. This ensures your return on investment. We do this by having a series of interventions post course with the individuals and their manager. We also now guarantee that our clients will get a return on their investment, or we will give you your money back, or retrain you if you would prefer.
Implementation of our tools and techniques is critical to The Holst Group. We provide practical desktop reminders, wallet card overviews of key content, implementation tips and strategies via email and every learner has ongoing direct contact to their trainer.”
