Edward de Bono’s Message
There is a huge need for new words in a language. But new words are difficult to insert. New words do arise when there is an obvious need. But such needs are not the most important. There is a greater need for new words that will then allow us to see existing things in a new way or a new combination.
The old words get in the way and pull perception along the established path. Imagine a word that signalled the following: “If I accept your starting point and your values I would agree with you. There is nothing wrong with your logic but your starting perceptions are particular.” That is quite a mouthful but one simple word could convey all that.

Your argument sounds very convincing! But I don’t have the faintest idea, what kind of word could convey this most important message! What do you propose?
Best regards!
Helmut, how about starting with a bit of greek and latin……. or even ask someone who has a grasp of one of the eastern languages that uses images instead of words?
