Summary about company:
ONLYCONNECT is a one-man band.  Ian Florance has worked in human measurement for well over twenty years, including heading up ASE, the psychometric test consultancy. 

Ian has worked in promotions, marketing, publishing (educational, academic and trade) and trained at Ashridge, Henley and Insead Business schools, following degrees at Leeds and Reading Universities.  He founded ONLYCONNECT six years ago.  He is a former member of the BPS Standing Committee on Test Standards and secretary of both the Business Test Publishers Association and the European Test Publishers Group.

Products/Services:
Ian works in a very wide range of areas:
• advising on test use;
• carrying out testing elements of consultancy projects;
• strategic marketing including industry research, branding and advice on internal marketing;
• writing web sites, collateral and internal and external newletters;
• public relations work ranging from writing press releases to organising launches and speaking on behalf of companies;
• running trade associations;
• mentoring and coaching.

ONLYCONNECT is a member of an informal network of individuals with complementary skills.

Other information:
Ian’s interest in the arts – he is a published poet and librettist of, among other things, an opera that was performed at Southwark Cathedral- informs his interest in creativity at work and his own individual style of working. He is a visiting lecturer at The University of the Arts London.

He is psychometrics adviser to the Holst Group.
